1st – “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society Friday Lecture Series: Warner Shedd, “Owls Aren’t Wise & Bats Aren’t Blind: A Naturalist Debunks Our Favorite Fallacies About Wildlife”, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., seating on 1st-come basis. Book signing to follow.

1st – SCCF Caloosahatchee Oxbow & River-lore Cruise, 2.5 hour cruise departs from south side of river at W.F. Franklin Lock & Dam off SR 80 in Olga at 1 p.m., returning at 3:30 p.m., advance reservations required, on 41-passenger pontoon boat.

1st – “Kids Cooking” at The Community House from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Advance registration required.
