East End Shops – samples of Homemade Ice Cream. At Sanibel Sea School: music, outdoor activities, bonfire, ornament/cardmaking for kids, snacks.
Tomorrow night, Sat Dec 4, Captiva Luminary includes the golf cart parade which begins at 3:30 p.m. It lasts about an hour. It starts at South Seas, winding down Captiva Dr and then along Andy Rosse Ln, Chapin Ln, and Wiles Dr before going back to the resort. Judging is at 2:30 p.m. near Doc Ford’s. Following that parade, Captiva Luminary features fun and freebies, like on Sanibel. Luminaries are lit from ‘Tween Waters to South Seas.
Reception for Retired City Manager
You can be sure I will be at this event thanking her for her 20-years of service. In addition to the typical day-to-day running of City government, she got us through some difficult memorable times including Hurricanes Charley and Irma, the Sanibel bear, red tide of 2018, and with accomplishments like the Donax Water Treatment Plant and Sanibel Recreation Center. Always cool calm and collected, she will be missed. Thank you, Judie!

Wednesday evening also was the Association of Realtors® charity event, FISHmas, where holiday donations for needy children, teens, and adult gifts were collected and will be distributed by F.I.S.H. of Sanibel & Captiva. The SanibelSusan Team contributed items, I attended the event, and Elise helped with the donation delivery this morning.
At the Thursday morning Realtor® Caravan Meeting, I announced that our new listing at Donax Village #7 would be open. Those Open Houses typically are from 9 a.m. until noon; but, since winter-long renters arrive today and we had several prospects walk-in plus Realtor® previews, teammate Dave kept it open until mid-afternoon.
